Hi there! I'm Missy David, and I'm Honeybee Mama.

My name is greek for honeybee. Honeybees are social bees, industrious and creative in the way they work to make honey from the pollen in flowers. They are protective of the sweet things they create and of their families. I have a history of being a “busy little bee,” involved in many things, always excited to start a new project, and I find joy in bringing sweetness to the lives of those around me.

I am an optimist, a dreamer and I am determined to squeeze every last drip drop out of life. Life is hard, and never slows down, but it’s our perspectives that make our lives worth living or worth giving up on. Life is what you make of it. Make honey!

I'm married to the boy I've dreamed about since I was a teenager scribbling in my journal. His name is Marc, my love, my best friend, my second chance and soul's mate.

For as long as I can remember I’ve desired to be a mother and a wife. Marc and I have four crazy kids and we're riding the adventures of a blended family.

I've been a lot of things in my life and spent a lot of time pleasing everyone else but myself. I've been the perfect student, the perfect Christian, the perfect wife and the perfect mother. I've learned that in trying to please everyone, I please no one. I started thriving in life when I stopped trying to be the perfect anything and just decided to be myself.

I believe in doing what you love and loving what you do. My "job" encompasses all the things I'm passionate about. I am a Doula, childbirth educator, doTERRA Essential Oils Independent Consultant, blogger for TulsaKids Magazine. I'm also one of the cast members of Tulsa's own YouTube channel, Tulsa Feed! In the midst of all that, I'm a mom and a wife, living and loving my life one day at a time.

Read more about my passion for mothers and childbirth here.

I’m an open book, and what you see (or read) is what you get. This blog is for me to share my heart and life with you, and hopefully inspire you to live what YOU love.

Love and Honey,
